CBTFF Makes $525,000 Contribution to the Children’s Brain Tumor Project by Virtual Meeting
On Friday, May 1st, 2020, the first day of Brain Tumor Awareness Month, the Children’s Brain Tumor Family Foundation (CBTFF) was honored to make their 5th annual contribution to help support the phenomenal work being done at the Children’s Brain Tumor Project (CBTP).
We are proud to announce that this year’s contribution is $525,000. Our 2019 contribution was $350,000 and our 2018 contribution was $125,000.
Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer related deaths among children, surpassing even leukemia. The CBTFF works diligently all year long to raise funds to help support research of rare and inoperable brain cancers. The families behind the CBTFF have all been touched by brain cancer in some way, many of them losing children and family members to brain tumors for which there is no cure currently.
Our annual contribution has been steadily increasing each year due to the amazing support and donations we receive directly and from those that donate in honor and support of the families who make up the CBTFF;
Allie Fisher, 2009-2013 - Team Little Owl
Caitlin Downing, 2007-2012 - Cheering for Caitlin
Daryn Clark – 1962-2013 – What’s Your Fight?
Joey Clayton, 007-2013 - Team Joey
Juliana Donnelly, 2007-2013 – Team Juliana
Sean Ries – Diagnosed 2012, Relapsed 2017 – TEAMSean
Throughout the year, our supporters generously made donations, purchased gold out gear or team swag, and attended one or more of our local fundraising events.
Once again, we thank you all for your ongoing support and dedication. We could not make a difference without you.
